NGL GRDA 2 color applique

If you have ever wanted to offer appliqué techniques to your clients but despised the manual headaches of doing it then this will be fascinating for you. This brief video shows how to make a two color, double layer appliqué from scratch DIRECTLY onto a FINSIHED garment in the least doable steps and in the most efficient way doable. Using the NGL50, which is technically a scanning laser that doesnt require a bridge or gantry like all the other lasers. You can place a piece of tackle twill or felt onto the garment, attach it with a in succession stitch and then take the hoops to the permabosslaser and laser cut it in a few seconds, then take it back to your embroidery machine and end things off or do the second layer! The only real drawback to the NGL laser is that you go the hoops to it instead of the laser going to it. But the ADVANTAGES plentiful. First of all its more than 0000 less than the smallest bridge laser. The NGL laser can be financed for about 0/mo or about /day, peanuts if you reckon about it. At the same time if you are from outside of Canada, we have unique financing for countries that are disadvantaged or dont have the same bendable credit systems as Canada or USA! Please call us for info on these programs. (Remember you still need a excellent verifiable credit history in your country and a bank relationship in your country to obtain this) The NGL series of scanning galvo lasers as they are called are the first lasers that are plug and play in

Lay down newspaper (the ancient glass may splinter some when removing). I used a flat head eyeglass screwdriver and plastic credit card. I bought the replacement glass on eBay for about .00.

OK, I found out two days later that it was the earphone speaker I trashed. The speaker is attached by a flat copper cable to the back of the lens.

If you are attempting this replacement, try heating the glass slightly with a hair dryer to soften the glue holding the lens in place, then use the credit card to lift the lens with fantastic care!

Changed the front lens on my V9 yesterday but I found there was an electrical connection under it leading to a copper sheet stuck to the lens. The copper sheet is stuck much harder to the lens than the phone base building it hard to very remove. I am not sure what this part does – perhaps it shows characters on the screen? I removed it along with the lens not knowing it was there and ruined the lead. Phone still works OK, but just a warning to you if you are about to change your glass..

Thankfulness, I tried this and thought I was breaking it so I left it – I will try it again now I see it works. Ebay has the glass for sale

Brilliant video. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SAFETY GLASSES. The glue holding the lens down is very tough to cut through when the lens is shattered or pin-holed. When you pull up with the card, a tiny piece of glass can glide off.

Thanx man… Mine got wet I couldnt dry it out very well so i just took it off and dried for myself! thanx a bunch!

Using a credit card was smart!! I didn’t even reckon of that – I used a craft knife the last time I swapped out my cover, but scuffed some of the phone in the process. I’ll use your trick this time around…

after watching this video i went on ebay and bought a front glass for only about $6.
    thankfulness for this vid!

Well it was until UMG pulled this video off YouTube temporarily because I used Damien Marleys song as background music! So now you get to listen to the Plain White-T’s because they obviously don’t need the extra cash or recognition for using their music and are on the “approved” audio list YouTube gave me to pick from ;)

I just wanted to thank you for posting this!! After I dropped my phone the front plate was the only part with hurt and I surely didn’t want to buy a new phone! It was as simple to replace as it was shown in the video. The only issue I had was the glue after I removed the ancient plate. The phone still works fine and looks fantastic!

  23. aoneftwo says:

  24. BornToLiveForGod says:

Hi thankfulness for the video, brillaint method, I did this for my sister today as I bought a glass front off ebay also. I found putting a small amount of sticky-back-plastic on the glass before removing it, stopped it from falling apart and from flying pieces of glass occuring.

  25. noop1394 says:

OMG!!!! I’ve replaced my phone twice because of this!!!!!! I swore that if it ruined again I was getting a uncommon phone. THANKS FOR POSTING….Saves me from building a claim!!!
